Armenia and Azerbaijan may be able to fully agree on a draft peace agreement in the near future, Azernews reports, citing Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan as he stated this in parliament.
"With cautious optimism, I would like to say that soon, we may reach an agreement on the remaining one or two points and have a fully agreed peace agreement," he noted.
It is worth noting that peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia have hit a deadlock due to Yerevan's inconsistent and unbalanced policies. Armenia is delaying the steps necessary for signing a peace agreement. Moreover, the country's leadership draws attention with various ambiguous remarks.
