In the first nine months of the current year, Azerbaijan has allocated 4 billion 855.8 million manats for the reconstruction and restoration of territories liberated from occupation, with 64.6% of this amount—approximately 3 billion AZN—spent on relevant projects, Azernews reports.
Customer organizations reported using 137.6 million manats, while 61.4% (1 billion 728.9 million manats) of the state capital investment budget was also utilized.
According to the Ministry of Finance, various sectors have seen significant expenditures from January to September. Healthcare expenses amounted to 1 billion 405 million manats, achieving an implementation rate of 113.8%. Social protection and social security expenditures reached 3 billion 83.4 million manats (104.3% implementation), while defense and national security costs totaled 4 billion 509.9 million manats, with a 101.5% execution rate.
General public services costs were reported at 3 billion 361.1 million manats (108.5% implementation), and education expenses stood at 2 billion 931.9 million manats, with a 97.6% execution rate. Judicial power, law enforcement, and prosecutor's department expenses amounted to 1 billion 941.9 million manats (97.5% implementation), while economic activity costs reached 5 billion 592.3 million manats (97.3% implementation).
Other allocations included 665.2 million manats for agricultural expenses (87.9% implementation), 215.5 million manats for environmental protection (86.6% execution), and 316.5 million manats for culture, art, information, and youth policy activities (83.3% execution). Housing and utility expenses were reported at 177 million manats (73% implementation), and non-specific service expenses totaled 974.6 million manats (94.8% implementation).
