Azerbaijan President will pay an official visit to Pakistan in April

The visit is to be held by invitation of the Pakistani president Parviz  Musharraf, who invited I.Aliyev to Islamabad, during his official visit to  Azerbaijan July last year.

Presently, the parties prepare for this visit. The work on preparation of drafts of bilateral documents at the level of diplomatic channels is conducted, signature of these documents is envisaged during the forthcoming visit. The documents will be about development of cooperation in trade-economical, financial, humanitarian and other areas, the source informed. Presently, legal base of Azerbaijan-Pakistani relations numbers more than 20 documents.

During the visit of the heads of both states are: to continue the dialogue, which started during official visit of Parviz  Musharraf to Azerbaijan,  to discuss bilateral, regional cooperation,  to estimate processes going in the region.
