Azerbaijani delegation visit Nagorno-Karabakh region

Members of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh Public Union and Azerbaijan Parliamentary Journalists Association have visited Nagorno-Karabakh region.

The delegation members visited Khojavend region government office. Head of the Khojavend government Eyvaz Huseynov briefed the delegation on the ongoing reforms in the region. Governor of Beylagan region Irshad Aliyev, who attended the meeting, spoke about the current situation in the region, particularly in frontline areas.

The delegation then proceeded to “Nargiztapa” residential area. Here they visited Martyrs` Memorial Complex. The delegation members met local residents. Governors of Shusha, Khojavend, Beylagan and Khojaly addressed the meeting, highlighting comprehensive reforms in Azerbaijan. They expressed confidence that Azerbaijani territories would be liberated from Armenian occupation as a result of President Ilham Aliyev`s successful foreign policy.

Residents thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the care and attention. An appeal of the Azerbaijan Parliamentary Journalists Association to international journalist organizations, Nagorno-Karabakh residents of Armenian origin was read out at the meeting.
