Baku has responded to the Musavat party's appeal to hold a congress at the Baku Hand Games Palace. Baku has not given permission to hold the congress in the palace, opposition party deputy head Gulaga Aslanli told Trend today.
At a Musavat meeting on Jan. 7, it was decided to hold the eighth congress on March 3-4 to address the issue of electing a new Bashkan party.
It was decided to hold the Eighth Congress on March 3-4 at a Musavat meeting on Jan. 7. Musavat was established in Baku in October 1911. Its ideology is based upon principles of equality, Turkism, modernism and liberalization. Musavat is a right-centrist party.
