Korea seeks to further develop relations with Azerbaijan

Speaker of the Republic of Korea`s National Assembly Park Hee-tae has today arrived in Azerbaijan for an official visit. In the Heydar Aliyev International Airport Park Hee-tae was welcomed by the Vice-Speaker of Azerbaijani parliament Bahar Muradova and other officials.

“The aim of my visit to Azerbaijan is to mark the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Korea and hold consultations on further development of relations,” Korean Speaker told journalists.

Park Hee-tae pointed out that Azerbaijan has rich natural resources, Korea has several economic achievements and expressed hope that bilateral ties would expand. The Korean official will hold series of meetings as part of the visit.
