New opposition movements decides on name and structure

Azerbaijani opposition has decided on the name of its new organization. At the meeting held on the initiative of the Civil Movement Forum in the headquarters of the Classic People's Front Party (CLFP ) on Monday Mirmahmud Miralioglu, chairman of the CLFP, Gulamhuseyn Alibeyli, chairman of Aydinlar party, Vagif Mahmudov, chairman of Open society party, Fual Aliyev, chairman of the liberal and democratic party, Ahmed Oruc, chairman of Azadlyg party and Mirali Bahramov, representative of Civil Movement Forum took part, the CLFP told Trend on Monday.

It was decided at the meeting to call a new structure "Resistance movement in the name of democratic society". Also agreements on activities' areas and movement's structure were reached.

Meeting of the founders of the "Resistance movement in the name of democratic society" with the participation of political parties, public and youth organizations, independent MPs and intellectuals will be held on Jan.12.
