At the 'Skazka' zoo in the Crimean city of Yalta crowds gather to see the unusual two-headed snake.
The two heads of the California Kingsnake eat separately and react differently but one is more important than the other.
"One head has to be isolated with a special spatula so that the second head does not block its swallowing,” explained Dmytro Tkachov, chief keeper at the snake-house.
The snake will be on display to visitors at the zoo until mid-September when the Crimean tourist season ends.
