Thirsty boy gets trapped in Coke machine

09 March 2010 [10:23] - TODAY.AZ
A thirsty four-year-old boy had to be rescued by firefighters after getting his hand stuck in a vending machine for more than an hour in New Zealand.
Nathan Thomson got his hand ‘well and truly jammed up to his elbow’ in a Coca-Cola vending machine at Johnsonville Shopping Centre in Wellington, firefighters said.

They said a Coca-Cola representatives with a key was unable to free Nathan, so the glass door had to be broken to open the machine up.

People cheered and clapped as Nathan was freed.

Nathan’s dad, Allan Thomson, said he had no idea how his son got trapped so firmly, adding: ‘He won’t do it again, that’s for sure.’
