Int'l Children's Mugham Festival runs in Baku

 The International Children's Mugham Festival is being held in Azerbaijan's capital for the fourth time.

The festival, the main goal of which is to promote mugham in the world, is supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Youth Centre Kainat.

Since 2009, this festival takes place at an international level for the fourth time. If in 2009, in addition to Azerbaijan, it involved only artists from Uzbekistan, today the International Children's Mugham Festival involves eight countries accordingly.

Qualifying rounds which began in May completed in September. Azerbaijan is represented in the international festival by young talents from different regions of the country.

The final stage of the International Children's Mugham Festival will be held on 12 October at the International Mugham Center. The winners of the festival will be awarded with Grand Prix and special diplomas.
