Baku studies role of scientific innovations in economic development

An international conference on a role of scientific innovations in the country`s economic development started in Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

The conference is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of restoration of Azerbaijan independence.
The event brought together scientists and specialists from Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Russia, Georgia and other countries. Chief of ANAS Center for Scientific Innovations Farman Gasimov told of achievements gained in Azerbaijan`s economy. The scientists made reports on scientific innovations, creation of innovation infrastructure. The conference will end on Nov.25.
