Islamic Development Bank "granted 130 million euros" to "Azerenerji"

The Islamic Development Bank has allocated 130 million euros to Azerenerji, major electricity supplier in Azerbaijan so far, the company`s president has told journalists.
“We enjoy fruitful cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank, and it has been rapidly developing in recent years,” said Etibar Pirverdiyev.

“Most of the Bank`s investment in Azerbaijan has been made in the power sector. This financial institution is interested in construction of small hydroelectric power stations, and it is ready to spend money on this,” added Pirverdiyev.
