Drop in import of goods to Azerbaijan by individuals

Individuals imported consumer goods worth $70,471,000 to Azerbaijan through customs receipt in January-May 2010, the Azerbaijan Customs Committee said.

“This $24,134,100 or 25.44 percent less than year-on-year,” the committee said.

Consumer goods worth $216,355,900 were imported to Azerbaijan in 2009, $64,58,900 or 22.98 percent less than the 2008 figure.
