Azerbaijan to apply 'single-window' principle in real estate registration

Azerbaijan's State Real Estate Register Service at the Committee for Property Issue plans to improve real estate registration system, introducing the "single-window" principle by 2013, Service Head Damat Bagirov said at the international seminar "Efficiency and Transparency in Real Estate Management."

"The service is working hard to automate workflow of real estate registration," he said.

According to the official, the service is working to execute an Azerbaijani presidential decree dated May 19, 2009 on improving the state real estate property administration in Azerbaijan.

Bagirov said the service is also working to create an e-archive.

"By 2013 we intend to create a national inventory of immovable property registration system in Azerbaijan in accordance with international experience," he added.
