Azerbaijan registers over 20,000 tax legislation breaches in 2009

The Ministry said breaches by 20,017 taxpayers were revealed.

Of them 10,105 committed breaches when making cash settlements and 1,712 ones – violations of law on currency regulation.

Apart from this, 2,335 unregistered taxpayers and 3.115 taxpayers operating without license were registered.

During the inspection, the Ministry revealed facts of employing 538 individuals by 572 taxpayers without labor agreement.

Fines for violation of wrong use of 38,215,121 excise stamps from 192 taxpayers totaled AZN 18,146.
