Consulting Company on special innovation zones to be determined by year's end

ICT Ministry spokesman Rufat Gulmammadov told APA that the consulting company would negotiate with companies interested in establishment of innovation zones in Azerbaijan in order to prepare proposals on the project.

The proposals should include establishment of technoparks for the development of small and medium size enterprises, production and export of the electronics and software goods, development of competitive local production, creation of infrastructure to improve people's access to ICT services, preparation of human resources for information society.

The proposals are to be ready by March 1, 2007.
