Aviation fuel might not be exported from Batumi in 2007

Aviation fuel might reportedly not be exported from Georgia's Batumi port in 2007, because the Azerbaijani Airlines (AZAL) has begun to buy large shipments of this fuel for its own needs.

Biddings for the sale of Azerbaijani oil products (diesel fuel and gasoline for Iran and Georgia) in 2007 will be conducted in mid-December. The exact amounts of the shipments will be determined after calculating Azerbaijan's fuel and energy balance. This should be done in a few days, according to the schedule. Turan
