East Azeri produces 70000 bpd

AIOC said oil from the East Azeri platform is currently flowing from two wells at a rate of about 70000-barrel-per-day.

Oil production is expected to increase through 2007 as the other pre-drilled wells are brought online, prior to platform drilling commencing, the company said.

On plateau, the East Azeri facility will produce 800000-barrel-per-day in total from Azeri, West and Central Azeri platforms. AzerTAg
