Bank of Baku increased its balance sheet profit 3.6 times in 2005

According to the information given to APA from the head office of Bank of Baku, aggregate incomes and expenses of the Bank totaled AZM42.3 billion and AZM24.6 billion, respectively.

Assets of the Bank increased 2.7 times in the reporting year and constituted AZM273 billion by the beginning of 2006, and volume of the credit portfolio formed AZM147 billion (+64%). AZM13.6 billion of it falls to share of funds presented to other financial structures. In the mean time, volume of deposit portfolio of the Bank increased 2.5 times to AZM197.7 billion.

It should be noted that as of the beginning of the current year, aggregate capital of Bank of Baku increased more than 3 times to 64 billion manats and volume of paid authorized capital increased 2.5 times to AZM34 billion.

Besides, the number of plastic cards issued by the Bank reached 11873 and 5716 of them are credit cards and 6157 debit cards.
