Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan close economic partners in Caspian region

Azerbaijan is the main political and economic partner of Kazakhstan in the Caspian region, Kazakh Ambassador to Azerbaijan Serik Primbetov said in Baku at the event on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission in the country.

The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic missions of several countries accredited to Azerbaijan, as well as representatives of official and business circles and intellectuals of Azerbaijan.

Serik Primbetov stressed that during his tenure as the head of Kazakhstan's diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan was rich and fruitful and he leaves Azerbaijan with the most pleasant impressions.

"Azerbaijan is an authoritative, powerful state which created optimal conditions for the development of the economy and civil society," Primbetov said.

Primbetov has served as Kazakh Ambassador to Baku since January 2008.His post, will be replaced by Amangeldy Zhumabayev.
