BP announces investment volume in Azerbaijan

The volume of investments made by BP and its partners in Azerbaijan amounted to $ 35 billion during its activity in the country, BP Azerbaijan company head Rashid Javanshir said during a ceremony of signing the agreement on the support with the National Olympic and National Paralympic Committees.

He said that the company has made a significant contribution to the development of oil and gas sector and the Azerbaijani economy over 20 years of activity in Azerbaijan.

The company plays an important role in the oil and gas sector in the country. It is the operator of the major international oil, gas and oil, gas transportation projects. BP will continue its activity to develop the economy as a whole and oil and gas industry in particular in subsequent years, he said.
