Yesterday, at about 17.00, an armed clash between Azerbaijanis and Armenians took place in Tver region of Russia.
According to the Russian media, the both sides involved more than 100 people. Eyewitnesses say that they used automatic weapons. Interior Office of the Tver Region confirmed the fact.
"Yesterday at about 17.30, in Zavolzhsky area of the city of Tver in KSM-2, in Tupolev street 117, a conflict occurred between Azerbaijanis and Armenians. The mass fight reportedly included over 60 people from each side. As a result of the conflict 7 persons from the both sides addressed to the regional hospital with various traumas.
23 Azerbaijanis and Armenians were detained during the investigations. The cause of the conflict is being identified.
