Azerbaijani grandmaster ranks 4th in "Royal Tournament"

Romania hosted "Royal Tournament" in chess. In the final 10th round, Azerbaijani grandmaster Teymur Rajabov, playing whites, drew with Romanian Liviu Dieter Nisipeanu after the 33rd move. Magnus Carlson (Norway) also drew with Sergey Karyakin (Russia) while Vassily Ivanchuk (Ukraine) defeated Hikaru Nakamura (USA).

Hence, Rajabov received 4.5 points and ranked 4th preceding Nisipeanu and Ivanchuk (both 4 pts). Carlson and Karyakin shared the first place with 6.5 pts. The leaders will have an additional match to choose the single winner of the first place.
