Azerbaijani judoka wins bronze in World Paralympic Games

Azerbaijani judoka Ramin Ibrahimov won the bronze medal in the World Paralympic Games in Turkey, the Azerbaijani National Paralympic Federation reported.

Azerbaijani sportsmen performed well in two weight categories on the first day. Nurlan Ibrahimov lost his first fight in the 60 kg weight category. However, Ramin Ibrahimov won the bronze medal during the competition. Bayram Mustafayev reached the semifinals in the 66 kg weight category. He finished fifth. Judoka İlkin Alishev finished seventh.

Sportsmen in the 73 kg weight category (Ramin Aliyev), 81 kg weight category (Vusal Aslanov, Rovshan Safarov) and 57 kg weight category (Afaq Sultanova) will perform today.
