UNWTO Secretary General to visit Azerbaijan

Secretary General of the UN World Tourism Organization (WTO) Taleb Rifai will pay a visit to Azerbaijan on Nov.14, the Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry said.

Mr. Rifai will mull the cooperation between the UNWTO and Azerbaijan at a meeting with Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev on Nov.15. He will hold a news conference on the same day.

The Azerbaijani Tourism Institute will host an event on Nov.16 , during which Mr. Rifai will be awarded the title of "Honorary Doctor" of the Institute, the ministry said.
