Azerbaijani Army repulses Armenian Armed Forces’ attack, two Azerbaijani soldiers dead

Reportedly, a shootout occurred on the contact line between the Azerbaijani and Armenian troops.

The Armenian Armed Forces opened fire at the Azerbaijani troops in various directions and there were intense shootings between the troops on Wednesday, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Deputy spokesman Teymur Abdullayev told Trend on Thursday.

Abdullayev said Azerbaijani Armed Forces has repulsed the opposite side's attack and rendered several enemies harmless.

As a result of the ceasefire violation by the Armenian Armed Forces in the direction of Tartar and Tovuz regions, Azerbaijani soldiers, 20-year-old Novruz Aliyev and career soldier, 22-year-old Abbas Asgarov were killed.
