Azerbaijan intends to strengthen staff potential in tourism sphere

The changes are planned to be made to the legislation to introduce new requirements to take on employees in enterprises wishing to engage in tourism activities in Azerbaijan, rector of the Azerbaijani Tourism Institute Jafar Jafarov said.

He said that some employees must have an appropriate degree in this area to engage in tourism activity.

The specialized staff must operate in tourism sphere, as well as other spheres.
There are few specialized employees in the field of tourism, he said.

Jafarov said that the changes will contribute to the large flow of tourists into the country.
