On what conditions foreigners can stay in Azerbaijan?

Important information for foreigners staying in Azerbaijan.
The below information might be useful for foreigners who plan to, or already stay in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

***Temporary staying period of foreigners and stateless persons arriving under visa regime is determined with the duration of stay indicated on the visa.
 
***Temporary staying period of foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan under visa-free regime should not exceed 90 days.
 
***Foreigners and stateless persons intending to stay in the Republic of Azerbaijan for more than 30 days must apply to the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Interior within 3 days (except weekends and holidays) for registration at the place of residence.


STATE DUTIES

According to the Azerbaijan Republic Law “On state duties” state duties on extension of temporary staying period, temporary and permanent residence, issuing and extension of work permit, Azerbaijan Republic citizenship issues for the foreigners and stateless persons have been determined as following:

 

For granting decision on extension of temporary staying period in the country:

 

up to one month

30 AZN

from one month up to 2 months

60 AZN

from 2 months up to 3 months

90 AZN

 

For granting permission card for temporary residence in the  territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and for extension of its period:

 

up to 3 months

30 AZN

up to 6 months

60 AZN

up to one year

120 AZN

annual for students (bachelor, internship)

40 AZN

 

Issuing and extension of work permit:

1000 AZN

 

Reissuing lost IDs on temporary or permanent residence or decisions on extension of temporary staying period in Azerbaijan Republic:

 

10 AZN

 

For granting permission card for permanent residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and for extension of its period:

 

300 AZN

 

AzerbaijanRepublic citizenship:

 

acquiring

110 AZN

restoration

revocation

 

For granting Refugee card or Travel document to the person obtained refugee status in the Republic of Azerbaijan:

5 AZN
