Azerbaijan–Russia bridge of friendship to be opened in Astrakhan region

Azerbaijan-Russia bridge of friendship, which is to connect Heydar Aliyev park and Peter the Great square will be opened by the end of 2011 in Russia`s Astrakhan region.

This subject was in the focus of a meeting of vice-governor of Astrakhan region Konstantin Markelov and chief of Nariman region of Baku city Abdin Farzaliyev.

They also touched on implementation of three other projects in Astrakhan region – reconstruction of a school N 11 named after Heydar Aliyev, Friendship Bridge and monument to Prince Vladimir.
