ANS PRESS presents photos of 13-year-old girl, died as a result of a sabotage carried out by Armenian special forces.
A criminal case was launched by the regional prosecutor's office based on Article 120.1.12 of The Criminal Code of Azerbaijani Republic (willful murder motivated by national, racial and religious hatred and feud).
A special investigation group was established in connection with the murder of young girl Aygun Shahmaliyeva who became the victim of covert operations of the Armenian special forces. The group is already in Alibeyli village of Tovuz region.
The camera crew of ANS went to the scene. According to Elsevar Jafarov, standing on the bank of Tovuz River with Aygun, an explosive devise was installed inside a toy which was directed to the Azerbaijani side by the river.
"Coming out of the river, I pulled out the dog-shaped toy and Aygun took it. I told her to drop it but a little child by our side began to cry and ask for the toy. Aygun picked it up again, brought it home Later, the toy exploded."
Owner of the house Hasan Jafarov heard the explosion from outside. "They lived in Saint Petersburg. That day they came to visit us. "We were having dinner while this happened. I went outside to but water. When came back, I heard an explosion and entering the room, I saw the injured child. She was taken to the hospital. That's all I know."
According to doctor on duty Ramiz Mammadov, Elnara Shahmaliyeva's condition is medium-heavy. "Her condition is partially satisfactory. The wound on the right thigh is definitely caused by some firearm or other explosive device. Currently, she is confined to bed and received sedative drugs. Hope, she will be able to talk tomorrow."
The close people of the injured told ANS that Shahmaliyevs live in Russia and had come to Tovuz to visit relatives. Head of the family Zireddin Shahmaliyev went back to Russia a couple of days ago.
