Number of electron applications for nationwide schools declared

The total numbers of the e-applications were declared for vacant teacher positions for comprehensive schools in Azerbaijan. During July 1-15, application admission period, 9342 applicants submitted documents for the vacant places, Strategic Analysis, Planning and Human Resources Department of Ministry of Education said.

1834 of the submitted applicants are for elementary schools,1610 for English language, 1839 for Azerbaijani Language and Literature, 1018 for Mathematics, 761 for History, 506 for Physics, 440 for Informatics, 436 for Biology, 408 for Geography, 33 for Chemistry, 307 for Physical training, 137 for Labor working, 61 for Military education of youth, 47 for Music, 43 for art and drawing positions. However, 70 percent of the all applicants have chosen vacant positions in Baku.

While, 2177 teachers are needed in Azerbaijan. 374 vacant positions for Baku schools, 1803 for other regions and districts. The competition for the vacant places will be declared from August 1.
