Man kills his sister in Azerbaijan’s Ganja city

A resident of Ganja city of Azerbaijan killed his sister, local prosecutor’s office said.

The incident took place at about 14.00 on June 21. Maarif Nadirov, 25 knifed his sister Matanat Huseynova, 30, mother of four, to death.

Nadirov surrendered to police. He said he killed his sister because of jealousy. Prosecutor’s office of the Ganja city launched criminal investigation, which is underway.
