Bridge on Kur river in Azerbaijan’s Shirvan town collapsed again

Bridge on the Kur river, in the 8th km of Hajigabul-Behramtepe highway collapsed, deputy chief of Highway Department #34 Nizami Mammadov said.

He said the traffic was restricted for trucks as the reinforced concrete slabs on the river collapsed, it is permitted to drive light cars.

The repair of the collapsed part has started. New concrete slabs will be installed there. The installation of the slabs and asphalting will be completed by 17.00 today.

Before, the bridge collapsed on April 15.
