Vietnamese mine pickers to learn ANAMA’s practice

Vietnamese mine pickers to learn practice of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action, ANAMA said.

According to the info, 12-person delegation of the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation (VVAF) will be on a visit to Azerbaijan on May 1-5. The visit will be carried out by the initiative of Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) and the delegation will visit Training Center in Goygol region. They will also meet the activity of Education & Training Quality Assurance Bodies (ETQA), operations in Saloglu Military Base. They will meet with the people damaged from mine. The visit purposes to learn ANAMA’s management mechanisms.

GICHD’s management on quality Vera Bohle will inform about the Azerbaijan’s works in demining sphere.

Note that, ANAMA has held trainings for Afghan, Tajik, Turkish and Georgian mine pickers.
