Tovuz resident stabs his own brother

Yesterday night, a crime took place in Keshmali village of Azerbaijan’s Tovuz region. Mehman Maharramov stabbed his own brother Babek.

The wounded was taken to the central regional hospital where he received urgent treatment.

According to Babek’s wife, yesterday night Babek, his brother Mehman and their neighbour returned from a feast. At first she said that the brothers were drunk and began to quarrel with resulted with a crime but then she refused the fact.

"Nobody attacked him; maybe he fell on a stone and wounded his hand, you know. It’s a mountainous place, steep stones and everywhere", she said.    

A question aroused if it was a light trauma, then why he was hospitalized? She gave a weird answer to this question: "He lost much blood and weakened, so we had to take him to the hospital".

Eventually, a criminal case was issued upon the incident. The crime is being investigated.
