3 officials arrested within framework of measures against corruption in Azerbaijan

Three more officials have been arrested within framework of measures against corruption in Azerbaijan.

Two of the detained persons are municipal heads. Along with the Head of Shamakhi city municipality Murvet Zeynalov, head of Shamakhi region Medrese village municipality Ferman Ahmadov, chief of the State Land and Cartography Committee’s Shamakhi regional department Mehman Efendiyev has been detained as well.

General Prosecutor’s office is investigating the case.
