Azerbaijan's Interior Minister dismisses 6 traffic police officers

Several officers of the Highway Patrol Service have been punished. Interior Ministry's press service told APA that Interior Minister, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov signed an order regarding it.

Under the orders signed by Minister on March 2, 2011, six officers of the Highway Patrol Service have been dismissed for failing to take legal measures with regard to the drivers violating traffic rules, to fulfill their duties, for committing acts damaging the image of the police and for corruption, 1 officer was removed from post for ignoring the illegal acts of his colleagues.
