Azerbaijani academician awarded honorary title of doctor in Kazakhstan

The Eurasian National University (ENU) named after L.Gumilev of Astana hosted the days of Baku State University (BSU). The Azeri delegates led by Academician Abel Maharramov, representatives of the Azerbaijan Diaspora and journalists took part in the event.

Rector of ENU, Prof. Bakhytjan Abdraimov congratulated guests and emphasized the importance of the expansion of ties and cooperation between ENU and BSU.

Abel Maharramov described the reforms in the field of education in Azerbaijan and government's concern for youth.

Also at the event Abel Maharramov was awarded honorary title of the Doctor of ENU. The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan Latif Gandilov attended the event.
