New ecology committee to be launched in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijan State Committee for Standardization, Metrology, Patents and Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources are working to establish a Technical Committee in the sphere of ecology, the State Committee said.

The relevant state bodies have already discussed regulations and action plan of the committee. The committee will work out standards regulating pollution of atmosphere, environment and land and water contamination.
