Forecasters have warned of a sharp cooling in the territory of Azerbaijan.

Temperature across the country will fall by an average of three to six degrees, and thermometers will show a minus mark in the highlands, the Bureau of Meteorological Forecasts at the National Hydrometeorological Department of the Ministry of Ecology of Azerbaijan said.
"Cooling in Azerbaijan is result of the influence of cold fronts moving here from the north,” chief hydrologist of the Bureau Asif Verdiyev said.
“Subzero temperatures and sleet is expected in the highlands of the country."
According to Verdiyev, at night from 12 to 15 April, unstable weather will dominate in the country.
Intense precipitation and strong north winds are also expected.
In Baku, during these days the average daily temperature during the day will vary between 10-12 degrees Celsius, and at night - 5 to 8 degrees Celsius.
At night, raining is also expected. The northern wind will blow 18-23 meters per second.
The temperature will get warmer on April 15. The rain will stop and the north wind will shift its course to the south. The air temperature will be 12 -14 degrees Celsius during the day.
