Content and rules of resident education approved in Azerbaijan

According to the decision, these rules have been developed for the integration of higher medical education in the global medical education environment and will create conditions for improving the quality of education under the principles of pan-European system of medical education.

Not only Azerbaijani citizens having a higher basic education can get resident education. Duration of training on resident education for various medical specialties is determined by appropriate educational program from two to five years. The State Student Admission Commission will participate in this process.
