Gurban holiday marked in mosques and holy sites in Azerbaijan

Gurban holiday has been marked in great part of Azerbaijani mosques and holy sites.
The holiday prayers were performed at 10.00.

The people performing prayers were given detailed information about the Gurban holiday.

In most mosques akhunds spoke about the rules and benefit of cutting domestic animals as sacrifice.

Moreover, domestic animals were slaughtered and their meat was distributed among the poor in holy sites.
