Limits on intercity telephone calls may be applied in Baku in 2009

"It is not planning to raise tariffs on phone calls and apply intercity limits on telephone calls in the capital of Azerbaijan in the near future, This issue is not on the agenda right now", said deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Iltimas Mamedov.

"It was decided to start discussing the limit issue after Baku ATS are fully electronized. It is planning to complete electronization in March of this year. After it this issue can be included to the agenda again", said Mamedov.
