Prices for Hajj pilgrimage from Azerbaijan to Mecca rise

Pilgrims, who want to travel by bus should pay AZN 2050 (AZN1450 last year) and pilgrims, who want to travel by plane should pay AZN 3500 (AZN 2280-4386 last year). The increase of prices is linked with inflation in the country, increase of expenses on travel and hotel, moreover, improvement of condition for pilgrims during Hajj visit. English companies will serve for Azerbaijani pilgrims, who want to travel by plane this year. The contract has already been signed on this issue. Modern Mercedes-404 buses will be delivered from Turkey for those, who want to visit by bus. .

Azerbaijan has received 6.000-member quota as it was last year.

Bus fare was $1350 and air ticket was $2200 in 2006.
