US congressman sends appeal to Azerbaijani President regarding Eynulla Fatullayev's case

Day.Az reports with reference to the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety that the due information was provided by editorial director of Gundelik Azerbaijan newspaper Shahveled Chobanoghlu.

He said the appeal states the need to consider the case of editor-in-chief of the Gundelik Azerbaijan newspaper Eynulla Fatullayev at the plenum of the Supreme Court.

Chobanoghlu noted that Eynulla Fatullayev does not expect the Azerbaijani courts to pass a fair verdict.

"His case will be considered in the European Court of Human Rights", resumed Chobanoghlu.
