US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State: "We would like American students to learn the Azerbaijani language in Azerbaijan"

The due announcement was made by Thomas Farrel, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State on educational programs in the Bureau for issues of education and culture, during a press conference by results of his visit.

He noted that during the visit he met with the President of the country, Minister of Finance, Minister of Education, Minister of Economic Development and a number of other senior officials.

"I think my visit is fruitful. I would like American students to learn the Azerbaijani language in Azerbaijan. My dream is the creation of a due center at one of the high schools of Azerbaijan for the American students to learn Azerbaijani", Farrel noted.

Farrel noted that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States in the engineering and IT sphere will further expand.

At the same time, he announced that the United States had allocated tens of millions of dollars for various educational programs, connected with Azerbaijan, since 1992 and added that this process will further continue.
