Over 1000 claims have been sent to the European Court of Human Rights by the Azerbaijani IDP.
The due statement was made by Chingiz Askerov, representative of the Azerbaijani government in the European Court, APA reports.
"The European Court is considering one of the claims. The consideration of the rest will depend on results of consideration of this claim. IDP mostly demand to restore their violated rights and to recognize Armenia the aggressor-country. Armenia is a respondentin this process". Askerov noted.
He said the amount of the contribution, demanded by IDP from the Armenian government, is not defined yet.
"We expect the internally displaced persons to demand this amount in accordance with the precedent right of the European court. The first claim was sent by 6 people. Perhaps, an acceptable amount must be defined in this case", he announced and added that NGOs, in particular, Association of Eurasian lawyers, played a decisive role in developing the claims.
