Scientific conference in memory of Heydar Aliyev to be held in Bishkek

On January 2008 Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aytmatov attended a photo exhibition dedicated to the life and activity of the late president of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.

According to Nusret Mamedov, president of the Fund of Assistance to the Policy of Turkic countries, the year of 2008 has been declared the year of Heydar Aliyev in a number of Turkic countries.

A number of measures. connected with the study of the political heritage of the national leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, is planned in these countries.

This initiative has also been support by writer Ch.Aytmatov.

"I approve this initiative and conduction of a number of scientific conferences in memory of Heydar Aliyev as he remains the symbol of progress and a new epoch", Aytmatov said.

Ch. Aytmatov and Azerbaijan's ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Arif Agayev discussed conduction of scientific and practical conferences in all Turkic countries.

It is planned to hold days of Kyrgyzstan in Azerbaijan and days of Azerbaijan in Kyrgyzstan.

"The world is overwhelmed with globalization, transformation of Turkic nations and countries. We have a common language, religion and roots, therefore, we must support the prominent leaders of Turkic states", ambassador Agayev added.
