Spouse of convicted Azadlyg newspaper officer sends letter to Justice Ministry

The spouse of Mirza Sakit, convicted officer of the Azadlyg newspaper, Rena Zahidova, sent a letter to the Justice Minister of Azerbaijan Fikret Mamedov and chief of the Penitentiary Service under the Justice Ministry of Azerbaijan Nazim Alekperov.
The information was provided by the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Security.

The letter reads that M.Sakit's is in a poor state of health, which requires a course of treatment for complete recovery.

The letter also contains a request to transfer the reporter to the hospital of the Ministry of Justice.
