Huseun Abdullayev and Fazail Agamali attended the proceeding.
Though the court said the court review will be held on May 22, the sources in the court told that the process has been fixed to May 18.
Huseyn Abdullayev faced charges under articles 127.1 (actual bodily harm) and 127.2.1 (assault on an officer or his next of kin because of his job) and 221.2.2 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code.
MPs Fazail Agamali and Huseyn Abdullayev had a conflict at the parliament's sitting March 16. Fazail Agamali appealed to the law enforcement bodies with claim that he was offended and underwent physical pressure.
The Parliament annulled Abdullayev's parliamentary immunity at Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov's demand. Nasimi district court sentenced Huseyn Abdullayev to two months in jail.
Appeals Court upheld the verdict, APA reports.
